Textiles Study Day and Lampshade Workshop
This will be a day of two halves. In the morning there will be an introduction to Indian textiles hightlighting their global significance historically and today. We will also look at some traditional techniques and motifs. We will then have a tour of Bowood House focusing on the Lansdowne family's connection to India and looking at Indian textiles on display.
